Beauty
The beauty of a woman
Is not in the clothes she wears,
The figure that she carries,
Or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes,
Because that is the doorway to her heart,
The place where love resides.
The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole
But true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.
It is the caring that she lovingly gives,
The passion that she shows,
And the beauty of a woman
With passing years only grows!

Real
In my travels, I have encountered a lot of people. I have made connections with different kinds of people over the years. I’ve had a crush or two. I have experienced lust, envy, jealousy, anger, sadness. I have known joy, happiness, trust. I have been in love. It is difficult for me to describe my feelings, for two of the finest people, I have ever met. I had the opportunity to speak to both of them on the phone, on this day. A gift. Hearing their voice brings me joy. Calming, stillness inside, knowing the way that I feel about these two cannot change. Simple gratitude, for knowing them, sharing time, hearing their voice. Purity and kindness, quality of spirit that exists in few. Special bond. Gratefulness fills my heart. Warmth internally swells. A spiritual connection that transcends. Friendship, kindness, loyalty yes. A greater bond exists. Unconditional, pure. I love you.

“It belongs to human nature to hate those you have injured”
Tacitus
“A shocking crime was committed on the unscrupulous initiative of few individuals, with the blessing of more, and amid the passive acquiescence of all” Tacitus
Walt Whitman
“Happiness, not in another place but this place…not for another hour, but this hour.”
― Walt Whitman
“Keep your face always toward the sunshine – and shadows will fall behind you.”
― Walt Whitman
“Be not ashamed women, … You are the gates of the body, and you are the gates of the soul.”
― Walt Whitman
“This is what you shall do; Love the earth and sun and the animals, despise riches, give alms to every one that asks, stand up for the stupid and crazy, devote your income and labor to others, hate tyrants, argue not concerning God, have patience and indulgence toward the people, take off your hat to nothing known or unknown or to any man or number of men, go freely with powerful uneducated persons and with the young and with the mothers of families, read these leaves in the open air every season of every year of your life, re-examine all you have been told at school or church or in any book, dismiss whatever insults your own soul, and your very flesh shall be a great poem and have the richest fluency not only in its words but in the silent lines of its lips and face and between the lashes of your eyes and in every motion and joint of your body.”
― Walt Whitman
